A playmaking EDGE defender who really shined both against the run and the pass past season, Taiwo is a dynamic defender south of Atlanta who absolutely deserved to be added to the latest rankings update. He brings a good frame at 6-foot-3 225-pounds with long arms, impressive burst, and the ability to create chaos in the backfield. He plays hard and uses good leverage to set the edge against the run while proving to be one of the better pass-rushers in the region. He's currently ranked as the No. 22 EDGE defender in the state for his class but that ranking will likely rise over time. He's an easy D1-caliber player who showed last season he's capable of playing at the Power Four level.

A sleeper Atlanta-area two-way player who makde big plays last year at both tight end and outside linebacker, Brewington is a basketball star who continues to show improvement and potential on the gridiron. He's a big kid at 6-foot-4 210-pounds who shined last year for Landmark Christian on both sides of the ball. His size and natural athleticism made it easy to add him to the 2027 Prep Redzone rankings. As a junior last fall, Brewington made a consistent impact on defense, making 34 tackles, seven TFLs and three sacks. On offense, Brewington scored two TDs on just five receptions. Look for Brewington to make a big impact for Langston Hughes as a senior in 2026.

A dominant force in the middle of the Creekside defense, Fairley is big, physical, and was tough to block all season long. He's not the biggest or heaviest lineman in the city, but he's naturally strong, plays with good leverage, lower-body strength, and was one of the top run-defenders in the region last year. Helping leading Creekside to a big state championship, Fairley was played at a high level all season long, making it easy to add him to the latest rankings update. As a junior last season, the big defensive tackle made 68 tackles, 14 TFLs and seven sacks from the interior. He's ranked as the No. 26 DL prospect in the state according to Prep Redzone.

One of the top sleeper defensive linemen in Gwinnett County, glass brings a solid frame at 6-foot-3 235 pounds and lived in the backfield all season long for the North Gwinnett Bulldogs in 2025. He plays hard and consistently makes plays in the backfield, making him and he was an easy addition to the latest 2027 Prep Redzone rankings. As a junior in 2025, Glass made 45 tackles, 16 tackles behind the line of scrimmage and seven sacks. He's quick, active, and versatile enough to play multiple positions along the defensive line. He's one of the fastest rising defensive linemen in the region bound for a gigantic senior season in 2026.

A fast-rising defensive tackle in Atlanta who should continue to see his ranking rise more and more over time, Myles is fresh off a really strong junior season where he showed natural strength and a max-effort style of play. He can hold the point of attack against the run, closes running lanes up the middle, and knows how to fight off blocks before chasing down the ball-carrier. Now ranked as the No. 33 DL prospect in the state, Myles was one of the region's most productive 2027 defenders, making 43 tackles, 18 TFLs and three sacks. His best football is way ahead of him and he'll bring easy Power Four talent to the table this fall as a senior.
