is new to the Western Kentucky area as he has transferred to Bowling Green from Frederick Douglass for his senior year. In his junior year with the Broncos, Jaxon completed 89/168 passes for 1,265 yards, 20 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions in 14 games. Strautman has a strong arm which he uses to lead his receivers down the field in the deep passing game. He also puts a nice amount of touch in his passes, putting the ball in a spot where only his intended receiver has a chance to catch it. Strautman also ran the ball 48 times for 298 yards and three touchdowns as a junior. Jaxon is a player who I expect college coaches to have their eyes on heading into this upcoming season.

is an elite quarterback from the powerhouse program at Frederick Douglass High School in Lexington. His ball placement on vertical throws is exceptional, demonstrating impressive accuracy, especially on back shoulder passes. Jaxon is comfortable standing in the pocket and skillfully dissecting defenses. He rarely makes mistakes that put the ball in jeopardy. While he possesses dual-threat ability, he is not a run-first quarterback. He’s a fun player to watch.

, a quarterback at Frederick Douglass High School. Strautman makes a considerable difference under center due to his arm strength, quick release and his pin-point accuracy in the air. Another facet of Strautman’s playstyle that stands out is his deep passing ability, proving he can connect with his receivers deep in the backfield for the touchdown pass.

, a quarterback at Frederick Douglass High School. Strautman and the Broncos earned a close 21-20 win over Male this past week. Strautman impresses me with his quick execution off the snap, showing off his quick release under pressure as well as his precision in the air. Strautman also stands out with his electric speed, showcasing his ability to maneuver the field and hit his receivers in stride in the redzone.Access all of Prep Redzone

is a quarterback that has jumped onto my radar this season. After spending most of his time as a backup, Strautman has started the first two games of the season for the Broncos this year and has had some impressive moments. In his first two games, Strautman has completed 11/35 passes for 141 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions against two very tough opponents. Last week, he picked up his first varsity win against 6A powerhouse Trinity. Strautman throws a nice deep ball, showing the ability to stretch the field and hit his receivers in stride. He has also shown good ball placement, putting the ball where only his intended receiver has a chance to catch it. Strautman doesn’t currently hold any offers but he is a quarterback to keep an eye on with the potential to develop into a high-caliber quarterback process as he continues to gain more experience in the high-powered Frederick Douglass offense.
