Following my breakdown of the best rising junior running backs to keep an eye on, here’s my list of seven 2026 quarterbacks in Kentucky that impress on film.
In the first place spot on my list is Cam O’Hara Cam O’Hara 6’2″ | 180 lbs | QB Cooper | 2026 State KY , a quarterback at Cooper High School. In addition to great movement in the pocket, what impresses me about O’Hara’s playstyle is his quick release and ability to hit his receivers in stride from along the edge. I also like O’Hara’s ability to remain composed under heavy pressure, utilizing his footwork to evade the defense and find an open receiver.
I am additionally impressed with Jaxon Strautman Jaxon Strautman 6’1″ | 195 lbs | QB Frederick Douglass | 2026 State KY , a quarterback at Frederick Douglass High School. Strautman makes a considerable difference under center due to his arm strength, quick release and his pin-point accuracy in the air. Another facet of Strautman’s playstyle that stands out is his deep passing ability, proving he can connect with his receivers deep in the backfield for the touchdown pass.

Claiming the number three spot on my list is Colin Daniels Colin Daniels 6’2″ | 180 lbs | QB North Oldham | 2026 State KY , a quarterback at Christian Academy of Louisville. Daniels impresses me with his explosiveness at the helm of the offense, showcasing his ability to adapt to pressure and get the ball into the hands of his receivers before the defense makes contact. I also like how Daniels can quickly connect with his receivers from along the edge with his precision.

Another skilled prospect to keep an eye on is Mario Litmer Mario Litmer 6’0″ | 175 lbs | QB Highlands | 2026 State KY , a quarterback at Highlands High School. Litmer stands out with his ability to utilize his cannon to hit his receivers in stride quickly off the snap, showing off his ability to play fast and efficient. Litmer also impresses me with his solid footwork, durability in the pocket and his ability to make smart passes when the defense is closing in.
Coming in at number five on my list is Ridge Holman Ridge Holman 6’3″ | 200 lbs | QB Logan County | 2026 State KY , a quarterback at Logan County High School. In addition to excellent arm strength, Holman stands out with his calculated passing game, proving he can quickly get the ball out as well as complete the deep pass. I also like Holman’s ability to be patient in crucial situations, waiting for the opportune moment to make the long pass.

Also worth mentioning is Kace Eastridge Kace Eastridge 6’0″ | 195 lbs | QB Campbellsville | 2026 State KY , a quarterback at Campbellsville High School. Eastridge impresses me with his outstanding footwork and agility in the pocket, proving he can stay on his feet under pressure and get the ball out. I also like how Eastridge can break tackles and move around to find open receivers in enemy territory. Eastridge’s careful decision-making also stands out.

Another playmaker to catch my attention is Maddox O’Neal Maddox O’Neal 6’1″ | 160 lbs | QB KY , a quarterback at McCracken County High School. O’Neal stands out with his quick execution off the snap and deep passing ability, proving he can put the offense in prime scoring position with his pin-point accuracy in the air. O’Neal’s ability to throw into heavy coverage and consistently connect with his receivers in the house also impresses me.
