A quality prospect out of Red Bank Catholic, Javier Guzman Javier Guzman 5'9" | 180 lbs | LB/ATH Red Bank Catholic | 2026 State NJ was the elder statesman in their linebacking rotation. Able to explode downhill, Guzman plays under control as he breaks down in his gap, effectively taking it away in the process. As he zeroes in on the ball, Guzman attacks it and is actively seeking to make a big play – he trusts what he sees in front of him and goes after it. An instinctual prospect that is well coach, he gets to his drops quickly, pursues plays extremely well, and is nimble enough to avoid climbing linemen. His hips, I thought, were more akin to that of a safety, which adds to my belief that he might play the star position in college.
