About Jamison
Expert Analysis
Mark Johnson | Prep Redzone Scout
We end with one of the mos talented pass rushers in the state. Jamison was able to hit double digits in sacks last fall, and he looks poised to do it again this fall. First off, Jamison has a long frame built to rush the edge. He can maintain separation with his length, has the flexibility to dip under OL, and he has the initial burst to win right off the snap. The Air Force commit is another athlete who looks like he is in position to face a lot of passing because Oconomowoc returns several key players all over the offense, and even has a couple kids who could breakout and add to the offense. Teams will have to score, and if they go to the air they better have a plan for Klein.

Oconomowoc is returning a lot of key contributors from last season. They return their QB, leading rusher, and 4 of their top 5 receiving leaders. They also return one of the best defensive players in the state. With so many weapons on an offense that seems to spread it around I decided we might not see one standout from the crowd. On defense, however, we have an athlete who has been an impact player and stood out from the crowd. Klein is coming off a 10 sack, 14 TFL season. For Oconomowoc to break through in the Classic 8 they will need the defense to step up. Klein is at the top of that group. If he can match those numbers or even increase them we will see the Raccoons be very competitive in 2023.

The highest debuting defensive lineman is breakout student athlete Jamison Klein Jamison Klein 6'2" | 225 lbs | DL Oconomowoc | 2024 State WI of Oconomowoc. The 6’3″ 220 lbs DE has a long frame, 6’5″ wingspan. He uses it to his advantage already. With his active hands, Jamison is able to keep himself clean of OL hands. His get off, range, and close to the QB jump off the tape. He is a hard defender for OL to get in front of, and hard to get away from for ball carriers. When Klein doesn’t choose to go with speed to win he is able to smoothly transition that speed into power. Power that can drive OTs into the lap of the QB. Big year is in store for the Oconomowoc DE.
