. The guard plays on an impressive pair of feet. They are very quick, agile, and able to move him around the trenches so effectively. Those feet allow him to pull, attack level two defenders, and always work his way to the leverage/body positioning win. What separates him from other IOL is that he also is able to pack a punch. In the run game you see him turn that quickness into power that allows him to drive DL off the line and usual pancake them with force. Austin should be poised for a big summer over the coming weeks. . The 6′ 270 lbs guard is built for the interior. He has a wide, strong base that absorbs bull rush attempts without letting the pocket collapse. He does a great job of using his hips to drive through opponents and also does a great job of winning with leverage. Austin also plays with the lateral agility needed to stay square on his man throughout the play. Add in that he has the range to pull across the formation and deliver powerful kick out blocks and you get a 2027 that is well on his way towards developing into a next level athlete. Keep an eye on this kid as he continues to develop.
