Lampe is hard-nosed kid that maximizes his talent by playing the game with all-out effort. Lacking the prototypical physical traits of a running back, he rushed 19 times for 119 yards and a touchdown when I was scouting City High against Norwalk during Week 5 of the 2025 season. Lampe chewed up a lot of real estate by picking his way between the tackles and finishing his runs. A receiver by trade, Lampe poses a threat as a receiver as evidenced by his two scoring catches this fall. Colleges should view Lampe as a prospect capable of developing as a running back but also one that might fit at receiver or defensive back with his skill set. He’d also be a special teams’ asset.
