2027 Auburn OL Isaiah Fields Isaiah Fields 6'3" | 270 lbs | OL Auburn | 2027 State AL looked exactly like what you would expect from a prospect holding multiple D1 offers. Fields brought a combination of size, strength, and athleticism that was evident throughout the day, and he consistently held his own against a talented defensive line group. What stood out most was his ability to anchor against power while maintaining enough mobility to recover if defenders had good initial positioning. Fields showed good lower-body strength throughout the workout, allowing him to absorb contact without giving up much ground. Just as importantly, he moved his feet well and stayed engaged through the entirety of reps rather than relying solely on his physical tools. There were several quality offensive linemen in attendance, but Fields left a strong impression on me as one of the top performers of the group.

Fields, now at Auburn, has several offers under his belt and is a candidate to add more between now and signing day. He is listed at 6’3 305 and is a candidate to contribute on both sides of the football. Most reps offensively were as a blocker, where he is a true mauler with overwhelming strength and violence at the point of attack. He is a better athlete than I expected, fully capable of getting out and occupying space in the second-level. Regardless, on whichever side of the ball he ends up at, it will be his overwhelming strength at the POA that sets the intrigue for his game.

Fields was a stout, strong two-way player last fall for Beauregard. Now, at Auburn High, he will get a crack at the best competition in the state on a weekly basis. He is solid on both sides of the ball, and while I think he best projects to the IDL at 6’3, he does most damage on tape at tackle. His foot speed is decent, and he is a functional athlete, but it’s his brute strength and mass that set the intrigue for his game. His punches are strong, and he controls the point easily with his hands. He is a good enough athlete to project to the D1 level, but again, it’s his strength and presence that will be hard to move on the front, regardless of which side of the ball he ends up on.

Right off the bat, I’m impressed by Fields’ skills in pass protection. At 6’3 270, he moves really well on his feet, and has the strength and leverage to consistently anchor and shut down interior pressure. It’s really impressive seeing how easily he wins at the line of scrimmage, you don’t have to worry about him when you’re dropping back to pass.

I also love how much effort Fields plays with- he’s a physical lineman upfront who plays through the whistle every snap and consistently pancakes/paves defenders into the dirt.
