Few players in the 2027 class can pursue and close on the football like Scott. There are elite flashes on tape, and I expect him to be a game wrecker yet again this fall.

Scott’s has seem to taken the leap as a pass rusher this offseason. The first step was already is more explosive however his hand usage is noticeably more aggressive and effective. Scott has also seems to have a better grasp of a rush plan when attacking blockers. Rather than relying solely on elite athleticism, he’s beginning to string together moves and setting up counters with purpose.

His hands and feet are more in sync, allowing him to optimize his rush quickness, energy, and create cleaner paths to the quarterback. Scott fits the mold of the modern edge defender — sacrificing some bulk for speed, flexibility, and disruption. As his technical refinement continues to improve, his ability to generate pressure should only increase this fall.
