Definitely a fun player, and a type of QB that schools have started to gravitate towards recently. For starters, he is a totally capable passer to hold his own at the FBS level, but it’s his off-script plays and his toughness as a runner that stick out to me. He has a knack for making unorthodox plays outside the pocket, and he also will drop his shoulder as a runner to get tough yards. Watch how many programs use their QBs to punch in the run game and get tough yards, and I think that’s how Myers should be used to maximize his game.

Myers is a confident passer who isn’t afraid to challenge defenses vertically. He shows good arm elasticity and can throw from multiple platforms. His ability to improvise outside the pocket adds another dimension to his game. Myers plays with a competitive edge and responds well to pressure situations. He flashes high-level throws that jump off the tape. At times, he can benefit from tightening decision-making. The upside is clear as he continues to polish his game.

Through the first few weeks, Myers has completed 83/121 passes for 1050 yards and 10 TDs, with another 39 carries for 268 yards and one TD on the ground.

Myers has been one of our top QBs in the class the last few seasons, and this year, Auburn’s offense has been dominant with him leading the way. Central’s secondary will have a tough battle ahead of them this week; we’re excited to watch.
