Another scout told me that Wilson did not have a strong showing on day one of the Elite 11. He was the last quarterback to throw on day two and was hitting receivers in stride.
His release is smooth and repeatable and it’s easy to see why he is the top quarterback in Utah. He is confident and was clicking with the receivers who were exhausted after running routes for three hours.
Wilson throws well off-platform and I had him connecting on 16 of 20 throws.

Wilson is the top quarterback in Utah. In the videos I’ve seen of Wilson, he has a very quick release and is mechanically sound.
He is the younger brother of New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson and has plus arm strength.
Arizona, BYU, Oklahoma State and Utah are considered to be favorites to land Wilson but he also visited Arizona State recently.
