Minner chipped in to the Hawk cause in 2024, recording 4 solo tackles and a pair of stops for loss as a role player. He’s put those lessons to good use in breaking out as a junior this fall. Through the first six games, he had racked up 14.5 tackles (7 solo, 3.5 TFL) and a pair of sacks. Strength is the asset that pops out when watching Minner. He absorbs blocks and powers off of them if the play comes his way. Minner operates with a great tempo and keeps churning through the whistle. With good straight-line speed when chasing down ball carriers, Minner could work as a middle linebacker in some defensive schemes.
