He’s a high-ceiling tight end who brings both a pass-catching mismatch and a committed, technically sound blocker. Stone’s vertical ability and blocking motor make him a fit for pro-style or spread offenses that use tight ends in multiple alignments. With continued improvement as a route-runner and blocker, he could become a player who can stretch the field as a pass-catcher. I’d like to see if Stone will show more elusiveness after the catch and whether to not he’ll be showcased running different types of route this upcoming season.
