‘s safety valve and his go-to target when the Bulldogs need a big play.
Morrison specializes in making difficult catches — one coming where he high-pointed the ball and ripped it out of a Prairie defender’s hands for a big gain — and yards after catch. The No. 12 receiver in the state’s class of 2026, Morrison can take a slant for a first down and turn it into a 20+ yard gain by putting his foot in the ground and getting up field. If opposing defenses give him an inch on a deep ball, he’ll take a mile, too. If he gets behind the secondary, get ready to switch sides of the ball, because he’ll out-run everyone.
Like Freking, an FCS program like Northern Iowa, Illinois State or Drake should be all over this kid. Big programs like Iowa or Iowa State should offer a preferred walk-on spot, too.

‘s film shows his recognition of when and how he can best take advantage of receivers in poor positioning. In the first three plays on his Hudl, Morrison catches touchdown passes of 80, 85 and 95 yards to help proliferate his total receiving numbers to 43 catches for 773 yards and seven scores last season.
Blowing by DB’s expecting a run play or a short pass, Morrison finds himself open, and with the trust of his coaches and quarterback, he grabs long bombs and uses his breakaway speed to reach the endzone.
Morrison uses that same football IQ to find the holes in zone coverage, and he can make tough catches in traffic, too.

emerged in 2024 as an excellent No. 1 WR that produced the bulk of Bettendorf’s numbers in the passing game. Morrison finished with 773 yards on 43 catches and 7 touchdowns. Morrison was one of the best WRs I watched when it came to tracking the ball and adjusting his route to get to the right position to make the catch off a deep throw. Morrison showed great footwork and is difficult to cover, winning on press matchups and getting behind the zones to beat the secondary. Bettendorf’s offense will certainly remain competitive with Morrison in it, despite several starters graduating after 2024.

Morrison finished with two receptions for 14 yards in this contest with one of the grabs being a 6-yard touchdown. On that play, he showed explosiveness off the line, beating the defense to the inside and cruising into the end zone. It showed his ability to play in the slot and opperate across the middle of the field. He also proved he can get deep on several throws that did not connect on this night. Morrison provides the quarterback with a good-sized target as well.
