was incredibly impactful on the defensive line for Bettendorf. With a club on his right forearm, Williams got after Prairie quarterback,

, putting constant pressure on him and getting into the backfield.
It was also near impossible for the Prairie Hawks to run up the middle, not only thanks to the play of Stecker and Freking, but because Williams continually blew plays up.
The third of the defensive trifecta for the Bulldogs, Williams registered seven tackles, including 3.5 TFLs and 1.5 sacks. He forced a fumble, as well.
Likely a D2 defensive linemen or FCS convert from DL to LB, Williams’ is a prospect someone will be very glad they decided to recruit.

is an intriguing prospect due to his athleticism, and he’s used that well to make him a dangerous weapon in the pass-rush game for Bettendorf. Williams recorded 32 tackles (26 solo), 12.5 TFLs, and 4 sacks in 2024. Williams is also listed as a RB and even returned kick last season, but the majority of his reps came on defense last season. Williams is a nimble, flexible defender who’s skillset may best be suited as an off-ball LB, but he’s quick and slippery, showing good balance and change of direction with his movements that doesn’t allow his opponents to shake him off easily, while also developing pass-rush moves that uses his athletic ability to win against bigger blockers. It will be interesting to see how teams at the next level may use his ability, but Williams is a talented multi-purpose athlete that has shown to excel on the gridiron.

Williams is an interesting prospect due, in large part, to his position flexibility. He lines up at running back on offense, plays on the defensive line and returns kicks. Williams’ speed makes him a menace chasing down opposing quarterbacks. He keeps his head up and eyes on the target. His lateral quickness aids him getting off blocks and hold up well against the run. Williams is explosive as a return man, showing sharp vision and burst. He didn’t play offense much against City, but the aforementioned talents work well when carrying the ball.

Williams combines size and speed for success. Most of the videos on his Hudl page are of him running the ball on the sophomore squad. He played defense on the varsity. Williams stands out on that side of the ball as well and that might end up being where he plays on the next level. He is an intriguing running back prospect, however. He gets downhill quickly with an explosive burst after taking the handoff. Williams emerges from packs of would-be-tacklers with good power in his game and a knack for keeping his legs churning.
