isn’t the biggest back on the field, but he runs with the kind of twitch and vision that gives defenses fits. He’s got explosive acceleration once he sees daylight and doesn’t hesitate to hit the hole. What makes him really stand out is his ability to read leverage and make defenders miss in tight spaces — that, and his willingness to finish runs with power despite his size. Chambers has already produced some big-time games for Brophy, and his balance between patience and burst makes him one of the more fun backs to watch in the Central Metro region.

Do not sleep on Chambers due to his size. Chambers shows an excellent initial burst with 0-100 acceleration immediately and knows when to bounce toward the numbers. Really good twitch, balance, and change of direction to make opponents miss and slip through initial tackles. Solid speed as well as he’s shown the ability to finish big plays multiple times in 2024. A definite kid to get on your radar as he enters his senior season.

may have a smaller frame but he more than makes up for it with his aggressive run-style. The initial burst once he secures the ball is incredibly impressive. Able to fly through the chaos of the trenches and work his way through the second level. Once he gets there, his elite vision really takes over. Chambers has a way of using the open space to his advantage and can often outrun defenders to a spot. With both Vanden Bosch and Chambers returning as seniors, the rest of 6A will have their hands full trying to keep this backfield in check.

led the charge for this Brophy offense, especially on the ground. With the offensive line being able to clear some holes for Chambers, he was able to pop a few 10-plus-yard run plays to keep the chains moving for his offense. He was also effective through the air, snagging a few catches, specifically on screenplays to get big gains. In space, he was quick and shifty moving around Perry’s defenders, hitting paydirt on a rushing TD in the red zone to give Brophy the lead early in the second half. Chambers was impressive and will look to continue his momentum as the go-to guy for his team in the running attack.

Quick and explosive back with great short area burst/acceleration. Flashes good all-around game speed, his start/stop speed and quick cut ability make him elusive in the open field and his breakaway speed makes him tough to catch. Possesses a strong and sustained second gear. Not the biggest back at 5’6” 175 lbs. but runs hard between the tackles and shows he can pick up tough yardage. He’s creative with the ball in his hands and flashes good spatial awareness to be able to make his own running lanes and fit through tight spaces. He’s balanced at the contact point and is able to absorb hits while maintaining leg drive and forward momentum to break tackles. Racked up over 1,000 all purpose yards and nine touchdowns as a sophomore. Also dangerous in the return game. One to watch as he develops.

Chambers is a very explosive ball carrier, and can impact the game from all three phases, especially in the return game. He shows a impressive initial burst through the first level, sees the field well and shows cutback abilities while able to make defenders miss in the open field, with third level speed in the clear. He is a very physical runner with contact balance, runs behind his pads and always falls forward to gain the tough yards. His explosion and position versatility for his age, makes him a no brainer next level kid that is a name to note over the next few seasons across the region.
