Anderson flashed good potential at OLB throughout his sophomore season. 6’2” 205 lbs. he’s got a solid frame already and proves to be effective dropping into coverage and filling as a run stopper. Smart defender that shows good eye discipline to process his reads and react to what he sees. Displays a good understanding of his assignment, sees pass he snaps his eyes to the receiver and drops efficiently. Like his block recognition, knows when to step up as a force player or when to fold and chases hard when he reads pull. Takes on blockers with square shoulders and can disengage to play the ball carrier. Could develop into a key contributor to the Brophy defense as he progresses.
