About Griffin

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I started at left offensive guard all 13 games of the 2024 and have played offensive tackle in the past seasons. I am comfortable at both the guard and tackle position in both run and pass blocking. Brian Jerzak of Prep Redzone, "The left guard routinely mauled his opponent...athletic offensive lineman who moves much better than an athlete his size should."

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am the youngest of four children who attends church every weekend. Our family is well traveled. I am very coachable and competitive while maintaining a good spirit. I am appreciative of others and the blessings that have been given to me.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have achieved a Gold Seal in Mandrin Chinese. (I have been speaking, reading, and writing Mandrin Chinese since kindergarten.) Currently on the Minnetonka High School Track and Field, Varsity Shot Put. I have good work ethic and currently employed at a local hardware store.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I collaborate well with others and enjoy the company of others with the desire to be part of a winning team. I have leadership ability. His uncle, Craig Robeen was a three-year starter in the Big 10. He was a 1999 captain of the Indiana Hoosier Football team. That team led the Big Ten in rushing. Spent the last 10 years as a church volunteer.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have a good support system at home. The 2024 football season brought some challenges, including falling to Maple Grove 28-21 in the 6A championship game. I'm working hard in the off season to achieve a state championship my senior season.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am open to any college that will provides a football scholarship. My preferences would be to go a midwestern university that has a winning program. Currently I am looking at an engineering or business degree as a major.
