One of the starting tackles on the team, Gage Ginther Gage Ginther 6'6" | 275 lbs | OL Fossil Ridge | 2024 State CO . Ginther is a behemoth, and with good reason too. He measures at 6’6″ 290 pounds and his play speaks for itself. A stat that rose to my eye was 19 pancake blocks! He’s very strong and has good quickness coming out of his stance, whether it’s a 2 point or 3 point stance. Ginther is a mauler, demonstrating good competitive toughness and playing after the whistle. Shown a low pad level to out leverage the defensive linemen. Harder for taller offensive linemen to do which is impressive. Ginther has good hand placement to control and steer defenders making holes for the run game. Good at creating blocks at the first level, finishing them, and then moving to the 2nd level. Good anchor against the bull rush. Digs feet into the ground and stops them in their tracks. Good against the spin move too. Will swat defenders arms away.
