Expert Analysis
Matt Tate | Prep Redzone Scout
Hamilton measures in at 6’0 165-pounds playing WR/TE for Fossil Ridge. He has good athletic ability due to very good jumping, good acceleration, speed, and solid change of direction. Displays a good release, not getting held up at the LOS. Hamilton displays good separation quickness. He’ll fight through contact to get open, or sit patiently in a zone void for a catch. He has good ball tracking and catching. Very good body control and good ball adjustment. Hamilton displays a great ability to go up for contested catches and come down with them. He has strong hands to hold onto the ball while getting hit. He also has a strong lower body to drag multiple defenders for extra yards. I’m very excited to see how Hamilton continues to develop his game!

Hamilton has taken advantage of the offseason by dedicating significant time to improving his craft through 7v7 and route running development. The additional reps have allowed him to sharpen his skills and gain confidence as a receiver. He consistently shows the capability to elevate above defenders, high point the ball and secure difficult receptions in contested situations. His ball skills make him a reliable target and a player that can use his size to have a wide catch radius. As he continues refining his routes and expanding his overall game, Hamilton is positioning himself for a larger role within his offense. The work he has put in throughout the offseason could translate into increased opportunities and production, making him a prospect who has the potential to generate attention as the year progresses.
