Expert Analysis
Matt Tate | Prep Redzone Scout
Zanotelli has some great film on tape. He measures in at 6’1 165-pounds with 20 receptions for 203 yards with 1 touchdown, including 2 kick returns for 59 yards. He has very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, speed, change of direction, and jumping. Good release paired with very good separation quickness. Zanotelli accelerates and bursts to create separation or will sit in an open void to get the easy completion. Crisp cuts into his route from the stem. Very good ball tracking and catching. He extends and plucks. Consistently makes the difficult catch. Very good ball adjustment and body control. Does a great job adjusting to the ball while keeping his feet in bounds. After the catch, he’ll shed tackles and use his home run speed to gain yards. He’s a star in the making and I wouldn’t be surprised when some colleges start giving him offers. Zanotelli has the talent.

He finished with 20 receptions for 203 yards and one touchdown, showing strong hands and the ability to win in contested situations. Zanotelli does a good job high pointing the football and staying composed through contact. His route work at the top of stems allows him to create late separation, particularly on intermediate routes. Zanotelli turned heads with a highlight worthy sideline grab that was ruled incomplete but still showcased his ability. He elevated above the defensive back, high pointed the football and displayed body control to secure the catch. While it didn’t count on the stat sheet, it was enough to show his natural playmaking skills. Zanotelli has the hands, athleticism, and confidence to become a consistent target in Fossil Ridge’s passing attack. With more opportunities, he could emerge as a reliable weapon in big play scenarios. Expect him to build momentum and gain more attention as the season unfolds.
