In the past 3 weeks, Saunders has earned himself 3 offers. From Fort Lewis College, Lewis and Clark, and Pacific University. Saunders measures in at 6’1 207-pounds playing IDL or EDGE. This past season, he had 40 total tackles (19 solo, 21 assisted), 6 TFL, 2 sacks, 4 QB pressures, and 3 PD. Good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, balance, good speed, and change of direction. Good initial quickness out of his stance with very good hand speed. Saunders uses his very good strength to rip through blocks and attack the QB. Good bend on the edge with a very good swim move to get past tackles and collapse the pocket. Very good get off and block shedding to disengage and make the tackle. Saunders will put his arms up at the LOS to create pass deflections. He has relentless pursuit, chasing after the ball carrier into open space. Exciting prospect deserving of his recent success!

has a high hipped, lanky frame at 6’1 207(Verified). He uses his length well with multiple batted passes, as well as keeping his chest clean in both the run and pass game and controlling OL at his will. Saunders doesn’t shy away from double teams and fights to maintain his gap furiously, showing his gap discipline. Shows a good get off and has speed to chase down ball carriers. After a strong showing at the Stock Up Showcase (detailed HERE) as a CO-MVP, Saunders is aligned for a big SR campaign.

and with good reason. He was 18th at the event in the broad jump. Saunders demonstrated his very good acceleration and good speed during the 40-yard dash. His pro shuttle showed his very good balance and good bend. Good balance as well. Saunders shined during the individual coaching and 1 on 1 portion. Very good initial quickness out of his stance and good hand speed. Very good strength. Saunders showed off his very good swim move and was beating his opponent with ease. The coaches also raved about his coachability. Great job by the CO-MVP!
Saunders was one of the most explosive defenders on the field. His quick first step made him standout immediately, allowing him to win reps before blockers could fully set. Saunders paired his burst with excellent hand usage, consistently disengaging through swim and rip moves while maintaining balance through contact. He showed an advanced ability to dip and flatten toward the quarterback, finishing the play in a hurry. His dominance in one on ones reflected a player with both natural pass rush instincts and refined technique. Saunders’ performance firmly established him as a rising name heading into the summer circuit.
