About Gabriel

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my play style and gameplay to be explosive and versatile being ready to play wherever the team needs me to be and to live play by play and focus on my job and leading the team towards big goals.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is just going into the day focusing on getting better and better really just knowing that if I put the work in it will pay off one day.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed my personal communication skills and ability to convey the team message and goal to a variety of people. Also trying to lead and inspire underclassmen.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

The main challenges I have faced are overcoming hamstring and hip injuries and having to overcome the distance between me and my family and father.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college looking to winning big games, competing at the highest level and winning championships. A college that’s goal is to have the best running back room in the nation.

Hegelheimer oozes potential when you watch him operating on the field, which I did during Week 2 of the 2025 season. The sophomore carried six times for 32 yards and a touchdown backing up one of the state’s top running backs. He also chipped in a pair of tackles, including .5 TFL, and showed up on special teams, including as a kicker and punter. Hegelheimer combines size, athleticism and good football instincts in finding success. He’s just scratching the surface of his considerable upside and is, without question, one to watch during the rest of this season and beyond.
