<p>The state of Iowa has its fair share of talent throughout the state. Getting recruited in droves, Iowa's class of 2028 has had quite a few updates to follow over the last month. Some receiving their first offers, some committing to their school of choice and others narrowing down what their future looks like with visits. Let's take a look at who has been where and done what over the last month.</p>

<p>The No. 1 prospect in the class, [player_tooltip player_id='1583613' first='Carter' last='Barrett'] out of Dowling Catholic has only continued to pick up offers from around the country. Since our last update on the class of 2028, Barrett has received offers from the reigning national champion, Indiana Hoosiers, LSU and Lane Kiffin, Florida, Arkansas and UCLA. In addition to the offers, he's visited each of Georgia, Indiana, Nebraska, Kansas, Florida and the new staff at Iowa State, led by Jimmy Rogers. </p>

<p>The No. 5 prospect in 2028, [player_tooltip player_id='1650312' first='Isaiah' last='Grant'] from Sioux City East, is a wide receiver on the rise that has caught the attention of a myriad of Midwest Power 4 program. In the last month, he's picked up a new offer from Illinois following a visit. He was also re-offered by the new receivers coach at Wisconsin, Ari Confesor.</p>

<p>Picking up what felt like was an inevitable offer, Des Moines Christian OT [player_tooltip player_id='1687033' first='Declan' last='Heying'] received an offer from Iowa after a spring visit in early April. A youngster with a long frame that he effectively uses in pass-pro and can only continue to be filled out, Heying has begun to receive national attention, and it only made sense that George Barnett opted to offer. In addition to the Hawkeyes, Heying received scholarship offers from Arkansas, Tennessee and Missouri. Over the last month, he's visited each of Arkansas, Tennessee and Ohio State. </p>

<p>Another national recruit and the top tight end in Iowa, Madrid's [player_tooltip player_id='1693550' first='Jevyn' last='Severson'] has added offers from Auburn, Arizona, Louisville, Baylor, Northwestern and Virginia Tech in the last month and is now up to 28 total offers. He visited Nebraska with Barrett in March. </p>

<p>Earning scholarship offers early on in hisi prep career from staffs that have since moved on or replaced their offensive line coaches, [player_tooltip player_id='1077234' first='Hayden' last='Shannon'] from PCM went from a rising OL with several offers to none at all. Since the turn of the new year, the 6-foot-4, 265-pound OL has once again picked up some steam, picking up offers from Minnesota and the new staff at Kansas State. He also visited Iowa State and Nebraska. </p>

<p>A twitch, bouncy athlete that has a knack for making tough catches and plays in the open field, Waverly-Shell Rock receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1596610' first='Jayden' last='Stephens'] has maintained his relationship with Iowa through the staff changes at Iowa State and Kansas State, two other programs that have shown interest. He was among the large group of visitors on campus this last month, continuing to forge his relationship with the Iowa staff. He also received camp invites from Nebraska and Kansas State. </p>

<p>The top QB prospect in the state, [player_tooltip player_id='1671366' first='Mack' last='Murdock'] of Centerville has begun to gain the attention of regional Power 4 programs, visiting Iowa, Iowa State and Kansas State this spring. He'll have a chance to receive an uptick in his recruitment with solid camp performances this summer. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1671624' first='Gabe' last='Blanshan'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1584562' first='Luke' last='Iverson'] were also among the group of visitors that made the trip to Iowa City to get a look at what the Hawkeyes have to offer. </p>

<p>Fellow OL at Dowling Catholic, [player_tooltip player_id='1286887' first='Evan' last='Mitchell'] visited each of Iowa, Iowa State and Minnesota, in addition to attending the Under Armour Next Football Camp Series. </p>

<p>Running back out of Iowa City Regina, [player_tooltip player_id='1605331' first='Gabriel' last='Hegelheimer'] received a spring invite to Maryland and also visited Minnesota in early April. He also received a camp invite from Kansas State for this summer. </p>
