Playing with a mixture of agility and violence out of the backfield for Johnston, Jones is a decisive runner that takes advantage of the holes cultivated by his offensive line, and he creates plays for himself.

This fall, he took 182 carries for 811 yards and 11 touchdowns. Through the air, he caught 14 passes for 151 yards and a score. He’ll be one of his quarterback’s primary targets next season as the Dragons do their best to make it to Cedar Falls.
