Elijah Ward Elijah Ward 5'9" | 150 lbs | DB Woodford County | 2026 State KY is a bit of a hidden gem in the state that has been sitting behind some very talented players at Frederick Douglass. While he has played a limited role, he has put together some impressive film on both sides of the ball. On offense, he is an explosive running back with the burst of speed to run away from the defense once he hits the open field. He also is very impressive on defense at corner where he has shown the ability to lock down opposing receivers in man coverage while also showing the ball skills to make a play on the ball when it is thrown his way. Ward currently holds an offer from Louisville and I can see more coming his way as his role on both sides of the ball continues to grow.
