He finished second on the team in tackles with 70. The only Longhorn who had more tackles was his older brother Luke, who was one of the state’s best linebackers over the last few seasons. Now, all eyes will be on Eli to see if he can expand his role and take the next step on this Jones defense. Like we’ve already mentioned a few times, this defense has the chance to be special. It won’t surprise us if DeBusk ends up being a 100+ tackle player in 2026.
