A solid 6-foot 176lb frame allows Jones to play physical at the safety position. He has great pass breakup skills and can lay the lumber with some of the best in the state. Alot of attention, rightfully so, gets paid to the Vikings defensive line but the role that Jones plays on the defense as a back-end gate keeper is also a vital role, and a lot of receivers pay attention to where the Husker commit is at when crossing the middle of the field.
