There were a lot of great performances of the state finals last season, but I think Donald may have been the most impressive. To me, he still possesses D1 talent. He is quick, elusive and has superior contact balance. I know he is getting some D2 attention recently, but I’m still thinking there are some D1 schools out there that could absolutely benefit from his presence.

Harper Woods has one of if not the best backfield in the entire state, but I don’t think that’ll stop

from earning more offers. Donald first came on my radar when he rushed for 174 yards against a great South Christian defense in the D4 Championship game. There, he ran with extreme intensity and wouldn’t be denied extra yardage once he reached the second level. The foundation he has when it comes to his vision, explosiveness, and receiving ability are also great. I mentioned a while ago that I see Donald as a Division 2 prospect, and if he’s put in the work this offseason, he should have no problem breaking out and having a phenomenal senior season for Harper Woods.

Donald could be in for a breakout season. During last season’s state championship, he thoroughly impressed me with his angry running, contact balance, and stamina. If he’s able to have that kind of performance against a great South Christian defense, then I can only imagine what he’ll do on a week-to-week basis in the OAA White. I’d still love to see him test sometime this summer. Good testing numbers would all but confirm a Division 2 floor.

Adams had one of the best performances of the weekend during state finals. Going for 175 was crazy enough, but the way in which he did it just made it even better. This dude was running through and around defenders all day, averaging nearly 10 YPC. He runs angry, he’s extremely physical, and falls forward on every carry. I’m expecting him to really take off as one of the best backs in the state next season if this year is any indication.
