The senior receiver brought in 10 passes for 130 yards and 2 touchdowns in defeat but showed he belong among the state’s best.

Forshey capped his high school career with 59 catches for 753 yards and 5 touchdowns during his senior year and was a reliable target all season. He worked a lot from the slot in this game but has primarily been a wideout during his career and has the versatility to do both. Forshey has reliable hands and displayed crisp route running against Martinsburg and the ability to make defenders miss and pick up extra yards after the catch. He’s earned himself some D2 opportunities in our opinion and is worth a close look by those programs.

He’s improved his average yards per catch in each of the first three games and is resorting back to being a big play threat that he showed as a junior.

Forshey is proving to be a good contested catch receiver this season and providing more evidence that he can high-point the pass and come down with 50/50 balls consistently. He’s still dangerous in the open field and after the catch as well and is developing his short and intermediate routes.
