The Parkersburg South Patriots have had a run on talented skill players in recent memory and that looks likely to continue with 2027 WR Kooper Jackson Kooper Jackson 6'0" | 180 lbs | ATH Parkersburg South | 2027 WV . Jackson was a PRZ WV Combine participant earlier this year and is an impressive-looking athlete for his age. He tested very well for a freshman with a 4.8 40, 4.22 pro shuttle, and 7.53 L Drill with a great early combination of size and athleticism that will pay dividends for him in the future. We expect Jackson to be a varsity contributor this season for the Patriots after being a standout for their younger team in 2023. Game film from him is limited right now, but Jackson looks to be a natural and fluid athlete which is backed up by his Combine testing numbers.
We’ll learn a lot more about Jackson’s play on the field this season on the varsity team and expect him to begin making his name more known during his sophomore year.

A 2027 WR prospect with a bright future is Parkersburg South’s Kooper Jackson Kooper Jackson 6'0" | 180 lbs | ATH Parkersburg South | 2027 WV . Jackson measured in at 5’11 185 but is very physically built for his age and doesn’t look like a typical freshman in that regard. He also tested very well for his age with a 4.81 40, 7.53 L Drill, and one of the best pro shuttle times in attendance with a 4.22 second time. Jackson is a strong kid who was a productive player on the Patriots’ freshman team last season and will likely be seeing varsity time sooner rather than later.
The athletic base and size he has give him a great foundation to continue building on over the next three years, so don’t be surprised to see him develop into one of the top receivers in this class if he continues on the trend that he’s on.
