Davis was physically impressive and smoothly moved through the individual drills. He had a nagging issue with his back so decided to take it easy later in the day to preserve himself for his school’s college showcase this week, which was a smart move. Prior to that, he was physical at the point of attack and showed good short-area quickness off the edge with solid primary and secondary moves.

Davis is one of the top 2027 defensive tackles in the Trinity League heading into his Junior season. He already has the ideal frame and length for the FBS level, and is extremely explosive and quick off the ball playing against the top competition in the state of California. He shows a violent strike, quick use of hands when getting off blocks and can split double teams/drive blocks with ease. Davis shows a variety of both primary and secondary pass rush moves and plays with a relentless motor when collapsing the pocket. He can play either on the edge or kick inside, but should grow into a twitchy 3 tech at the next level and is a no-brainer FBS caliber prospect.
