About Austin

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

At linebacker I pride myself in being a problem for offensive coordinators.I prepare for games, know my reads, and don't care how big the opponent is. I maintain leverage on blockers and make tackles. 7 years of competitive rugby has helped. I used my my speed in coverage and always pursue. I have a nose for the ball which is evident when you watch me play.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My teammates are my brothers. We work hard in practice, hold each other accountable, and lift each other up. We have each other's backs, on and off the field. My base committment is to always strive to make a perfect effort. I owe that to myself, to my coaches, and most importantly to my teammates.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I play Football, Rugby, and Basketball. I have a 4.0 GPA and take honors Math and English.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a team leader who believes in accountability for myself and my teammates. I believe communication on the field is paramount. Don't be surprised to learn I'm the loudest player on the defensive side of the ball.
