We mentioned earlier in the preview that Carl Albert might have found their next star running back and let’s face it, there are few programs that consistently produce running backs quite like the Titans. Junior Delijah Matthews Delijah Matthews 6'2" | 205 lbs | RB/WR Carl Albert | 2027 State OK has all the tools to be that guy at the running back position. He finished last season with nearly 400 yards and a handful of touchdowns but he was lower on the depth chart. Now, we anticipate him being the workhorse of the Carl Albert offense. And while they are figuring things out at quarterback, Matthews could benefit in a big way early on. He continues to get better and better every time we see him and is turning into one of the state’s best RBs in the ‘27 class.
