Quarterback evaluations can get really tough with bigger kids because sometimes people fall in love with the frame before the actual quarterback play shows up. That’s not an issue with Silver. The size is certainly there — 6’5″, 230 is hard to miss, but what makes him interesting is that there are already stretches on film where he looks completely comfortable running the offense. The ball comes out naturally and he’ll stand in there and rip throws without looking sped up; the whole thing just looks settled when he’s in charge. That’s the stuff that grabs you. Not one huge throw 50 yards downfield — the easier stuff. The in-rhythm reps. The snaps where you can see him moving through progressions and finding the right option in real time. The move to Red Mountain could end up being a really good thing for him too. He’s stepping into a program with real talent around him, more speed on the outside, and the kind of environment where quarterbacks either level up fast or get exposed. Honestly, it feels more like the first one here. You’re not trying to hunt for upside with him. It’s already on tape. You’re trying to see how often those really good stretches start showing up, especially now that he’s stepping into a program where the speed around him is only going to ramp up. Because when he’s comfortable and in rhythm, he doesn’t just look like a big young quarterback with some arm talent. He looks like someone who could end up being really, really good.

has the kind of physical profile that grabs you before the ball is even snapped, but the reason he’s interesting isn’t just that he looks the part. It’s that there’s real quarterbacking underneath it. When he decides to take off, he’s a load, and that part is obvious. He’s big enough to make defenders feel him, athletic enough to create problems once he gets moving, and he doesn’t look uncomfortable outside structure. But the thing that really makes him worth buying into is how easy the arm strength looks. He doesn’t have to sell out mechanically to get the ball where it needs to go, and when a kid can generate that kind of juice without looking like he’s straining for it, that changes what the offense can ask him to do. He also does a good job not getting locked onto one target. You can see him working through progressions, and that matters because a lot of young quarterbacks with that kind of arm talent can get a little too in love with the deepest route they have. Silver will attack windows, and he throws well on the move, which gives him a lot of answers when things speed up. The step up is real, though. Moving into 6A means the picture closes faster and the pass rush gets there sooner. That’s why the biggest thing for him is probably tightening the delivery and getting the ball out just a touch quicker against better pass rushes. Still, when you combine the size, arm, mobility, downfield aggression, and the production he already put up, it’s not hard to see why people are excited.

Silver recently made the transfer over to 6A Red Mountain from 4A Eastmark after the coaching change at EHS, and I truly think he’s developing into a legit P4 prospect and will have a huge opportunity to showcase his ability against the best competition in the state. Strong, big, and long frame and build at 6’5″ 225lbs that already passes the initial P4 eye test. Excellent demeanor and composure in the pocket with smooth, active feet with the ability to climb, slide, or escape accordingly. He delivers with an effortless release with tremendous accuracy to spot the ball in precise places, and has shown the ability to throw with both velocity and touch at all 3 levels of throws. Overall a big time arm with a high ceiling, as he’ll be a kid to get on your radar asap if he’s not already.

The arm jumps off the screen. He can drive the deep dig and hit the seam, and he throws on the move with real zip — especially rolling to his right. The growth area is exactly what you expect from a young QB: situational management and ball placement on the run. There were a couple of throws he’d want back, but what impressed was how he settled in, commanded the huddle, and used his legs to steal cheap first downs when the picture wasn’t clean. Big frame, competitive demeanor, and the offense clearly trusts him to take calculated shots; the ceiling here is obvious.

At 6’5” 215 lbs. Silver is a prototypical QB prospect who checks all the boxes physically and athletically. With elite size, functional mobility, and a strong command of the position, he brings great tools that will easily transition to the major D1 level. He possesses plus arm strength, capable of driving the ball to all areas of the field with velocity and zip. Whether making timing throws to the perimeter, layering the ball over second level defenders, or launching vertical shots, he delivers with confidence and consistent mechanics. Moves extremely well at his size showing the athleticism to extend plays outside the pocket, evade pressure, and move the chains with his legs when needed. His ability to process reads, maintain pocket awareness, and deliver accurate throws on the move makes him a true-dual threat in modern offensive systems. Picked up his initial college offer from NAU after a strong camp performance in June but expect his recruitment to skyrocket as he’s able to showcase his skillset.

definitely looks the part. The natural velocity is there, and he can make just about any throw on the field, but what’s been the most encouraging part of his game is how he’s settling in as a true leader under center. He’s patient in the pocket, going through his progressions with confidence, and understanding when to rip it and when to take the safer play. That steady growth as a decision-maker — paired with his obvious physical upside — is what makes him such a promising prospect at this stage. You get the sense he’s just scratching the surface of what he can become.

Silver’s got the kind of frame that immediately jumps out — big, sturdy, and hard to get on the ground. But what makes him even more intriguing is the way he moves for his size. He’s surprisingly agile in the pocket, and he’s getting better at using that movement to extend plays instead of just absorbing contact. The arm strength? That’s been there from day one. He can drive the ball with ease to the far sideline and doesn’t shy away from tight-window throws. What’s really showing up now is how much more comfortable he’s looking when going through reads and putting the ball where only his guy can get it. He’s not panicking under pressure — now he’s standing tall, scanning, and making good decisions. You can see the growth on film, not just in the physical tools, but in how he’s commanding the offense. There’s a calm confidence starting to show in his game. If he keeps this trajectory, he’s going to be a serious weapon for Eastmark and someone who’ll be on a lot of radars come fall.

from Eastmark. Standing at 6’5″ and weighing 185 pounds, Silver is a massive presence on the field with physical tools that jump off the page. His natural arm strength is incredible, capable of launching deep throws with ease and fitting the ball into tight windows. And while his arm gets a lot of attention, his mobility shouldn’t be overlooked — Silver can move when the situation calls for it, adding another layer to his game. One area for growth is in the quick game. With an arm as big as his, it’s easy to lean on those deep passes and explosive plays, but developing a more consistent short and intermediate game could take him to the next level. That said, Silver’s raw talent and physical attributes make him one of the most intriguing prospects in the 2028 class. As he continues to refine his game over the next few years, he’s someone I’ll be watching very closely. The sky’s the limit for this young quarterback.
