is a talented running back who is already committed to playing football at Syracuse. Last year he transferred to Harrisburg, but did not see the field that much because he battled injuries most of he season, so he transferred back to State College this off-season. Sheffey is a dynamic running back who can score anytime he touches the ball. He has good quickness and burst and is tough to tackle in the open field. If he stays healthy, he should have a huge season for State College.

is an explosive running back for Harrisburg, but he was slowed down most of the year because of an injury. Sheffey has a great burst and hits the hole well every time he touches the ball. He also has elite speed, and he can score anytime he touches the ball. Sheffey also shows good hands and catches the ball well out of the backfield. Sheffey is already committed to Syracuse. I think he has a chance to have a special season next year.

has been plagued with injury for most of the 2024 season. No tape on Hudl, not much on Twitter to update on. An obvious star and name to know in Pennsylvania HS recruiting, yet there isn’t much to update on, especially if you’re in my situation, being about 2-3 hours away from the immediate circle/Harrisburg community.
PRZ MD/VA scout/writer Ed O’Biren did catch Sheffey back in action this past weekend against CD East, a game in which Sheffey got in the end zone.

is one of the better running backs in the 2026 class. He is a tough physical runner between the tackles. He rarely goes down with 1 tackler trying to tackle him. Sheffey also has the elusiveness to make defenders miss in space. He has good lateral quickness as well. Sheffey also played cornerback and showed good coverage skills. He recently visited West Virginia, which would be a great fit for him.

This counts as the third time this freshman back has been mentioned on this site. He’s building real, deserved hype. His three-game is on par with many senior backs in the state if I’m being quite honest. Balance and instincts beyond his years, Sheffey displays an all-around game that blends evasiveness, vision, and toughness well. I can’t help but think what the future for this young man could be if he bulks up this coming offseason. Expect Sheffey to attract attention from Power Five schools every week. Momentum is building.
