Mike Yourey Mike Yourey 6'1" | 200 lbs | LB/QB State College | 2028 PA of State College High School is a Class of 2027 middle linebacker with a physical presence that immediately stands out. At 6’1”, 200 pounds, Yourey has an ideal frame with plenty of room to continue adding muscle. He plays with high energy and brings an old-school, violent demeanor to the middle of the defense. Yourey shows elite instincts against the run and is rarely fooled by misdirection. He consistently finds the football through traffic and fills gaps with urgency. His ability to diagnose plays allows him to arrive at the point of attack quickly. As a tackler, Yourey is sure-handed and delivers force on contact. He wraps up well in space and demonstrates that he can limit yards after contact. His physicality sets the tone for the defense at any level of play. Yourey profiles as a reliable, downhill middle linebacker who thrives in run-heavy situations.

Playing on State College’s freshman team last year, Mike Yourey Mike Yourey 6'1" | 200 lbs | LB/QB State College | 2028 PA was a standout player. He showed an excellent ability as a running back. He has good quickness and burst when he hits the hole. He is also hard to tackle as he is a physical running back. I also like his patience, how he waits for the hole to open, and he explodes through the hole. He also shows a good ability to catch the ball and make plays in space. Yourey is a good player who should be able to contribute this season for State College.
