- 6’2, 230 pounds. Self-reports a 3.0 GPA. TE/LB who has dabbled with the QB position in the past.
- First rep has the sophomore serving as an impact blocker from a sniffer/TE alignment. The rep proves his toughness, proves he can read assignments on the fly. Next rep shows why he’ll rank well among true TEs, running a corner out of an in-line alignment 3pt-stance. Love the burst off the LOS. This is a real athlete, no lumbering out of stance. Nasty/mean streak, kid finishes blocks with authority, awesome to see a kid impact block at his weight. I could only imagine what a bulk up to 240 at the next level would do, especially if he can expand on his pass-catching skills and route tree. Great hat and backside placement as a blocker, great down blocker, fantastic footwork allows him to win early in reps. Likely an animal on the defensive side of the ball. An expanded role would make me more comfortable providing a D1 grade. Seeing him live would help too, to confirm H/W. Great find here.

Keen Furmanek Keen Furmanek 6'1" | 215 lbs | TE/DL State College | 2027 State PA is an excellent athlete who plays as a quarterback. Playing on Junior Varsity last year, the lefty played at a high level. His athleticism is apparent as he is a good runner of the football. He is excellent at taking off and breaking tackles. He also has a good arm as he throws a beautiful deep ball. He does a nice job on the sprint out passing game, where he is able to run and throw at a high level. Furmanek should be in the competition to start at quarterback, but if he does not start there. He is a good enough athlete to play another position as well. He could find some time as a tight end this season.
