On defense, Conyer is a lockdown corner that has shown the ability to thrive in both man and zone coverage. He does a great job of reading both the receivers and the quarterback, and breaking on the ball with perfect timing to make a play. Conyer finished his senior year with 12 tackles and one interception in ten games. On offense, Conyer was a very dangerous receiver, using his speed to blow by defenders in the deep passing game and to run away from the defense after the catch. He finished the year with 26 receptions for 292 yards and three touchdowns. Cristian is committed to Tennessee where I can see him developing into a very productive player at the next level.

Conyer finished his final regular season with eight tackles and one interception with limited reps. He is a lock down corner on the outside, using his speed and athleticism to turn and run with receivers to mirror their routes. When the ball is thrown his way, he has shown the ability to fight across the intended receiver’s body to break a play on the ball. He also has shown the ball skills to attack the ball at its highest point and come away with the interception. Against the run, Conyer comes downhill to provide support and is a reliable tackler in the open field. He has also shown promise on special teams as a returner, showing the ability to return a kickoff or punt for a touchdown at any given moment. Cristian is committed to Tennessee where I see him developing into a key player for their defense.

On defense, he lines up on the outside at corner and is very impressive in man coverage. He does a great job of staying in the receiver’s hip pocket, reading their route, and breaking on the ball across their body to break up the pass. His speed allows him to open up and run with receivers in the deep passing game with very little effort. On offense, Conyer lines up on the outside at receiver for the most part but does line up in the slot on occasion. He uses his speed to his advantage to take screens and short passes for big gains and pose as a true deep threat. Cristian is also used as a ball carrier on jet sweeps and is very dangerous once he gets around the edge. Conyer is committed to Tennessee and will look to be another key piece to a program that is on the rise.
