Hunter Holloway Hunter Holloway 6'5" | 190 lbs | QB South Warren | 2030 KY looks like a varsity quarterback and plays like one, too. Holloway has seen some reps on Friday nights and has thrown 13 passes for 147 yards and two touchdowns so far. Expected to take over as South Warren’s sophomore under center next season, Holloway has been incredibly efficient as South Warren’s JV gunslinger. His ability to stand tall in the pocket, look over multiple progressions, and fit the ball in tight windows all showcases his maturity level on the field. His vision sets him apart from other QBs in his class, and has the arm strength to put the ball anywhere on the field. He most recently completed 17-of-22 passes and two touchdowns against Bowling Green’s JV.

Hunter Holloway Hunter Holloway 6'5" | 190 lbs | QB South Warren | 2030 KY won’t start his freshman year playing behind one of the better upperclassmen in the state. However, he’s shown flashes during his opportunities at the junior varsity level and has gotten a handful of snaps on varsity, including a touchdown pass already. His height and length bodes well when he’s in the pocket and can easily see over his offensive line. This gives him a better angle to throw the ball over defenders and into spots where only his receiver can catch it. Holloway has a bright future and is playing at a great program to help him develop.

I wish I got more of a chance to marvel at all of 6’5″ Hunter Holloway. Aside from looking like a lineman, Holloway had one of the most attractive throwing motions and deliveries at camp. Coming over the top, Holloway threw strikes to all corners of the field. Given his height, this over the top delivery, combined with his tendency to hold the ball high, inherently protects him from being stripped sacked.

Holloway was an elite prospect this past weekend. He played at IMG Academy, but this season he will suit up for South Warren back in Kentucky. He has an excellent frame, and showcased elite arm strength and the ability to carve through defenses. In 7v7 reps, he showcased elite vision and worked through his progressions well finding open targets down field.

Big fan of this young man out of Kentucky, Hunter Holloway is a 6’5 stud under center. From the moment he checked in I had a feeling he was going to do some damage and for sure did. Holloway has a cannon and he moves well on the run too. Previously at IMG Academy he has moved back to his home state and will suit up for South Warren this fall.

You may look at this kid as a classic drop back passer but that is not what I saw yesterday. I saw a young man who can throw on the run and can lead a team to a title.

Hunter Holloway Hunter Holloway 6'5" | 190 lbs | QB South Warren | 2030 KY is obviously a talented quarterback out of the 2030 class in the state of Kentucky, and he brings good size, arm talent, IQ and all-around quarterback play to the table. He is someone who shines in the big moments and he plays with a high level of confidence. I can guarantee he will have a big showing at the “RIZE” come time to touch the field!

Holloway certainly passes the eye test at 6’4”, 175 pounds, with a long, athletic frame that gives him plenty of room to continue adding strength as he develops. He shows impressive arm talent, delivering the ball with strong velocity and the ability to push it downfield, while also displaying solid touch and accuracy on intermediate routes. His mechanics are clean for his age, and the ball comes out naturally, which is a strong foundation for future growth at the position.

With plans to attend IMG Academy, Holloway is putting himself in a highly competitive environment that should accelerate his development. As he continues to refine his decision-making and add weight to his frame, his ceiling remains very high. While he may be moving out of state, he’s the type of prospect whose name could easily resurface in a big way over the next four years as he progresses through elite-level training and competition.
