Recent PG out of Greenville, North Carolina made the trip to Connecticut to make sure he worked under the Spring lights in front of many college coaches in attendance. I don’t think there was a better performance put on by any one Suffield prospect. Pass-catcher and play-maker at heart, yet a real chance of becoming a promising OLB prospect. At this event, however, Marcum showed off impressive athleticism throughout skill drills. Impressive stride, ate up turf like he weighs 170 pounds. Leaping ability, can catch the ball away from his body, again much like smaller DBs. As much as I’m liking Marcum at OLB, I can’t help but be intrigued by his potential on offense.

Head Coaches Notes: Cooper is an extremely good athlete. At 6’1.5 210 he was flying around in all the drills during the New England Showcase Tour on Monday May 15, 2023. He can flip his hips, change direction, get downhill and is extremely physical. Will be a high interest kid this summer. 3.9 GPA 29 ACT.
