I’ve had the pleasure of watching Whitters grow physically and, more importantly, as a football player during the last several seasons. The monster on the inside of the offensive line blew me away during a pair of in-person scouting opportunities in 2025. He not only beat his guys, he punished them. On some plays, he took care of multiple opponents. As mentioned, Whitters has improved his technique, including his leverage, keeping the pads down and driving through the dude across from him. That power on the bottom complements the strength and violent hands up top. Whitters plays through the whistle and flattens the opposition regularly. I think he can play early at Iowa and has the potential to be All-Big Ten or better.

If tasked with coming up with one word that describes Whitters, it would be, without question, nasty. He’s just nasty when playing the game. There’s no let-up or slowdown. If you’re an opponent lining up across from him, buckle up, it’s going to be a long night that won’t end until the final horn. Of course, Whitters can operate that way because of his frame and strength. He’s just bigger and stronger than most other guys at this level, which was readily apparent when I scouted him again during the Oct. 17, 2025 game against Cedar Rapids Prairie. Whitters was throwing guys around like rag dolls and finishing plays through the whistle. The University of Iowa should be a great fit for his game. He’ll be able to maul in the middle of the line, and his agility and athleticism give him a chance to be impactful on the next level.

The heart and soul of the Iowa City West offensive attack, everything started up front with Iowa OL commit,

. Whitters absolutely dominated up front for the Trojans, manhandling opposing defensive linemen and paving the way for the West rushing attack. He pulls with the best in the state, and when given an assignment, straight mauls defensive linemen. Like Manson looks designed to play Power Four linebacker, Whitters looks designed to play interior offensive line for George Barnett and the Hawkeyes.

is the near-exact prototype of what Barnett looks for in his offensive line recruits. An athletic big man that plays defensive line and took home the 5A state championship in shot put, Whitters has some twitchiness and explosion to him that had Iowa State and Kansas State after him, as well.
The big guy that brings some light-hearted comedy to the sidelines and practice, Whitters doesn’t mess around when the pads come on. Any opposing defensive lineman that matches up with the 6’4″, 300-pound guard is in for a long night of pummeling at the hands of the future Hawkeye.
The third-ranked offensive linemen in the state, Whitters will join the No. 1 OL in Iowa,
