Anytime a freshman finds his way on the field for Southeast Polk’s varsity, it’s wise to take notice. Trunnel contributed to the Rams’ four-peat in 5A this past Fall. He caught a touchdown pass and returned a kick 22 yards for the varsity. He spent most of his ninth-grade season shining on the junior varsity. You can watch his exploits on both prep levels in his 2024 highlights. Trunnel can ding defenses running through the middle or streaking down the outside. He’s smooth in his routes, getting in and out of breaks quickly.
