QB Boston Bailey Boston Bailey 5'11" | 175 lbs | QB Southeast Polk | 2028 State IA looks primed fully take over the reins of the SEP offense next season after a solid showing as a sophomore. Boston wasn’t asked to do too much as he only attempted 98 passes, completing 62 of them for 733 yards and six touchdowns, with an additional two rushing scores. Watching Boston’s tape, I was really impressed by how effortless some of his throws looked. He is able to get the ball out smoothly and showed he can either throw with touch and good placement when lobbing up a deep ball, and has great speed and precision when zipping it into a small window. Bailey would win a lot of competitions for best name. He’s starting to impact the proceedings on the field as a sophomore for the four-time defending state champions in 5A. Appearing in four of the Rams’ first six games of the season, Bailey had completed 26 of 38 throws (68.4 percent) for 350 yards and four touchdowns against only one interception. He led the charge in victories during Weeks 5 and 6. Bailey appears confident and in control while behind center. Arm strength stands out as does his mobility and accuracy when throwing on the move. Keep an eye on where this goes from here because Bailey’s potential is significant.
