Roberts’ ranking here as the No. 7 OL/DL and No. 17 overall prospect in Iowa is more telling of the talent the state has to offer than anything. With his size and fluid movement, Roberts should easily have more offers than he does. With major upside as blocker that does more than just his initial assignment or simply blocking who he’s matched up against across the line of scrimmage, Roberts is a D1-caliber OT that still has room to fill out on his frame.

is a beast playing at Right Tackle for Southeast Polk, and his presence helped the Rams win their 4th straight Class 5A championship last season. Roberts is as physical as they come, and he does a great job at constantly moving his feet and adjusting to pick off blocks on multiple defenders each play to create lanes in the run game. Roberts shows great hand placement and some really solid speed for his size, making him versatile as a run-blocker and pass-protector. Roberts has 2 offers currently, including a D1 offer from Northern Iowa. Roberts will look to lead the way for Southeast Polk’s 5th straight Class 5A title in 2025.

I scouted Roberts in person early last season at Cedar Rapids Prairie and then again during the state semifinals in the UNI-Dome. He played a key role in helping the Rams four-peat. Roberts won a lot of battles at right tackle in 2024, as we can see while watching his junior highlight video. He has a knack for blocking multiple defenders on a given play and doing so with physicality. Roberts sets up well in pass-pro, operating with balance and good hand placement. He could line up on the outside at the next level. His athleticism and agility would play up even more with a move inside.
