About Clayton

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I describe it as doing my job to the best of my abilities. Also picking up my offense and taking them out of tough situations. I love to do roll out punts and Australian style punting. I have a strong leg and control of the ball.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am mentally tough and have high character, I hold myself to a high standard.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

. I am involved in FCA, my youth group, and TPUSA.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a leader on and off the field, I am willing to do anything to help my team win. I have developed mental toughness knowing that if i make a mistake I can move on to the next play. I also am a light to my team and show Gods glory on the field.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Not really besides a few broken bones.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college with a football program that has lots of culture. One that wont only develop me into a better player but a better man. One I can also grow in my faith.

Gardner handled the punting duties as a freshman on a Class 5A playoff team. He averaged 38.3 yards on 15 punts. During his ninth-grade highlight video, Gardner provides evidence as to how he gets the job done. Average yards per attempt don’t tell the whole story of a punter’s talents. Gardner is skilled at directional punting and making it difficult for returners to find clean opportunities. Kohl’s Kicking sees him as a 3.5 star in its 2029 national rankings. The specialist experts had this to say: Demonstrated effort and a strong willingness to learn and compete throughout the 2025 Kohl’s Midwest Winter Showcase in Chicago. During punt charting, he earned 80.4 points, achieving a best hit of 43 yards with a hang time of 3.6 seconds. His positive energy and receptiveness to coaching contributed to a confident performance.
