Bennett has seen his recruitment take off this offseason, especially in the month of May. He’s added new offers from UCLA, Auburn, and plenty of other top-tier programs in the last week.

This isn’t my first look at Bennett, who has actually been one of my favorite 2028 OL prospects in AL since I watched him about a year ago. Bennett, now up to 280, is a well-rounded player on the offensive front with position versatility. His size and play style will project best to the interior, but he can roll in space and has the foot speed to stick at a tackle spot if needed. Regardless, the intrigue here is set by his motor and violence. He works through the whistle and can levee devastating contact on defenders, especially when he gets rolling downhill. I love the floor here, and given he has two years to continue developing, I am intrigued with his ceiling, too.

As a sophomore, Bennett stood out, competed with some of the state’s best, most talented defensive fronts, and still found success. I think he could end up seeing a lot more high-level programs reach out to him with offers soon. He’s a beast on the left side of the line who will only keep getting better. This past week, Bennett picked up another offer from USF! I won’t be surprised if he adds more soon; he’s been having a great sophomore season.

8/13/25: Thin 6’3 250 with a lot of room to bulk. Think he has desirable length for his height and consistently locks out and ties up defenders on tape. Elite first-step quickness with the speed in space to close on defenders. Arrives at contact hard and has freshman tape littered with knockdowns. Love the upside here and think he will be a P4 guy down the line. Holds early GO5 offers.
