Clay-Chalkville | 2027 StateAL is a productive DB prospect who should be viewed as a breakout candidate on the recruiting trail. He is a rail-thin prospect who is a blank canvas physically, offering room to easily tack on another 20+ pounds to his frame. Ivy is a real reactionary player at the top of routes, proving difficult to separate from. He has the ball skills to execute at the point of attack, leading his team in INTs as a sophomore. He has plenty of range, gliding across the field. As a tackler, he settles down and does a good job of attacking the trunk of bigger ball carriers to upend them in space. Ivy is raw, but has plenty of upside and should tack on recruiting buzz in the future.”

Clay-Chalkville | 2027 StateAL
is a dominant safety out of Clay Chalkville who made game-changing plays for his defense all season long last fall. Ivy is really well-rounded and can make huge plays against the run and pass with how athletic he is- he has terrific speed, can cover tons of ground, and is a physical playmaker who can shut down WRs all over the field. Against the pass, Ivy is extremely reliable and provides great coverage over the top, consistently shutting down deep-threat WRs by breaking up and picking off passes. Ivy is also incredible in run support- he does a great job tracking down the ball carrier and flies downfield to come up with huge stops. It’s really impressive watching Ivy tackle- he does a great job wrapping up but can also deal out some massive hits. It was easy to see these skills all of last fall- Ivy ended his sophomore campaign with 14 total tackles, 3 PBUs, and 3 interceptions. Ivy has played really well at safety and is heading into a huge junior year- be sure to give his tape a watch below!
