About Chase Elzey

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

A shifty RB with quick feet, great vision and cut-back style of runner. Also, can catch coming out of the backfield or lined up in a slot. Has the toughness to run in between the tackles and the speed to be a perimeter threat.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am mentally tough, have a strong work ethic. I am dedicated and motivated to be the best.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

No

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a silent leader meaning I lead by example. I believe in teamwork and know I can do my job without the help from the lineman, and WRs blocking for me and the QB getting me the ball. This season I was able to rush for 1030 yards and had 19 TDs thanks to the help of the rest of the offense.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

In the 2022 season, I broke my elbow in July at a camp and had to have surgery. I thought my season was done before it started, and it was mentally hard for me because I worked hard in the off-season. I was able to rehab hard and made it back to play in the last four games of the season. This season I broke my wrist in the third game but kept playing and did not miss a game.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would be blessed to attend and play for a Power 4 or Group of 5 school. That is my goal.
