Morgan checks a lot of early boxes you want to see in a high-level Texas QB. He plays in a demanding system, against playoff-level competition, and shows functional arm strength with athletic upside. What jumps out on film is how consistent his base remains, even when pressured. He doesn’t panic, and his release stays compact.

From a projection standpoint, Morgan profiles as a quarterback who will benefit greatly from physical maturation. As his frame fills out, his velocity and drive throws should take another step. The competitive background at Guyer matters, he’s already accustomed to expectation, preparation, and postseason football. That’s not insignificant.
